I already have broadband, how do I switch?
Choose the package that best suits your business
Place your order either by phone or online

We’ll contact your provider
Now it gets easy – sit back, relax and leave it with us.
We contact your current provider and will let you know your switch date.
If you need a new phone line, choose a convenient time and we’ll arrange for an engineer to install it for you.
Your switch will be smooth, meaning no disruption to your broadband. If you’ve taken a phone package you will be able to keep your number.

Switching to Workair
If you ordered a router, it’ll arrive well before your switch date.
We’ll let you know when the switch is finished – all you’ll need to do is set up your router (we’ll provide full instructions for this). You’ll then be connected.

Should I cancel my current broadband service?
No – if you currently have broadband or fibre you’ll need an active service to switch to Workair. If you cancel your broadband or fibre account with your current provider your move will be delayed.

Once we’ve confirmed your service has been switched to us, check that your old provider has cancelled your service. This should stop any unnecessary payments being made.

What equipment will I need?
You’ll need:

  • An operating landline or compatible landline
  • A compatible router – you can use your own or order a new Workair one
  • A microfilter for each active phone socket

Can I use the modem/router I already have?
Normally yes – please call us to check before your switch date.
However BT branded routers are not compatible and you will require a new one which we can supply

Can I connect more than one computer?
Yes, though the more that are connected the more your speed will be affected

What broadband packages are available in my area?

The legal bit - Broadband

You’ll need a Workair landline to get our broadband.

Our landline phone service line rental costs £12.99 per month on a 12 or 24 month contract.

Broadband

Broadband speed: You get the best download speed available (up to 24Mb if you live in a high speed area) dependent on your location, phone line, wiring and time of day. Because of these factors your speed may be higher or lower than up to 24Mb.

Broadband with a 12 or 24 month contract: Include a wireless router that costs £29.99(P&P £8.99). If you choose to end your Workair Broadband service within the minimum period, you will have to pay a termination charge by way of compensation to us for ending your service early. This charge is £299 for the phone line and broadband/fibre

The legal bit - Fibre Broadband

Fibre broadband speed is always described as ‘up to’ because your actual download speeds will vary. We’ll give you the best download speed available on your line up to 38Mb and upload speed up to 10Mb. This is dependent on your location, phone line, wiring and time of day.

Fibre activation: An engineer visit is required to install your Fibre. However, we won’t charge you for this.

Fibre broadband with a 12 or 24 month contract: The Workair Fibre service is subject to a minimum period of either 12 or 24 months. If you choose to end your TelTel Fibre service within the minimum period, you will have to pay a termination charge to us for ending your service early. This charge will be £299.
